Environmental Officer

Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and develop strategies for effective waste management while promoting eco-friendly practices.

Maintain records of waste management in accordance with the Integrated Environmental Authorization and prepare the annual report for the Environmental Protection Agency.

Keep an updated register of hazardous substances and revise safety data sheets monthly per legal requirements.

Coordinate periodic emissions and wastewater analyses, liaising with relevant institutions and updating monitoring plans.

Provide regular training for staff on hazardous substances and environmental topics.

Prepare annual environmental reports for the National Agency for Environmental Protection (ANPM).

Monitor and maintain the odor management plan as required by the Integrated Environmental Authorization.

Manage reports and communications with authorities in line with the Sanitary Operating Authorization and Water Management Authorization.

Assist in recertification and validation of ISO certifications and update contracts with environmental service providers.

Inspect sites for environmental reporting and collect relevant data.

Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation, in line with company requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Protection, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or related fields.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of waste management principles.

Proficient in English (written, spoken, and reading).

Advanced MS Office skills (Excel and Word).

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills and integrity.

Analytical and synthesizing abilities.

Valid category B driving license.
