Site Manager (Construction Projects, Romania)

Manage and supervise day-to-day execution of construction projects on site.
Ensure works are carried out in line with technical documentation, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workforce to achieve project milestones.
Monitor progress and report regularly to Project Manager.
Control use of materials, equipment, and resources to ensure efficiency and cost control.
Identify and resolve technical or operational issues arising on site.
Maintain compliance with Romanian construction legislation, railway/civil standards, and client requirements.
Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures at all times.

University degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing execution of construction projects.
Solid background in railway construction and/or civil works projects.
Strong knowledge of Romanian construction laws, standards, and site procedures.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with ability to manage teams and subcontractors on site.
Good communication skills in Romanian (native/advanced level).
Willingness to work on construction sites across Romania.
Driving license (Category B) is an advantage.
